Pop sensation Madonna has been divorced twice, but for the TV, the pop star will be taking on a new profession — marriage referee – for comedian Jerry Seinfeld’s forthcoming show about quarrelling couples. Madonna will make an atypical television appearance on the show.
The “Material Girl,” will be one of the judges in the panel of celebrities on “The Marriage Ref” who will be deciding which spouse should be affirmed the “winner” of a family fight filmed in their personal homes. Madonna got divorced with her British movie director hubby Guy Ritchie in 2008.
Madonna will be seen alongside American Larry David and British comic Ricky Gervais in the episode that will be filmed in New York in front of a studio audience next week.
Madonna has previously married to actor Sean Penn, and has made only some appearances on TV shows excluding performances or interviews.
