Raj Thackeray’s Maharashtra Navnirman Sena(MNS) and Congress are turning out to be strange bedfellows in making as they both have a common target and that’s Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan.
Though, the reasons for both of them are different.
The Congress party has been criticizing Bachchan for being brand ambassador of Narendra Modi-ruled Gujarat.
Whereas Raj Thackery, chief of MNS, is targeting Amitabh Bachchan on the actor sharing poetic podium with Pakistani poets and reciting poems with them. This whole issue is in continuation to Shah Rukh Khan’s comments on Pakistani cricketers exclusion from IPL III and Raj’s alienated uncle’s party Shiv Sena protesting against him.
Raj questions, why wasn’t Bachchan targeted by Shiv Sena as he shared dais with Pakistani actors and artiste, whereas Shah Rukh was attacked for speaking in favor of Pakistani players?
It should be known that “in recent times in a media-sponsored program Amitabh Bachchan was seen sharing podium with Pakistani actor Zia Mohyeddin. But the matter wasn’t raised like Shah Rukh Khan’s”.
