Naomi Campbell’s Fashion Show Benefits Haiti earthquake victims

It was hot tailoring for a Nobel cause.

Supermodel Naomi Campbell organized a star-studded fashion show to raise money for Haiti earthquake victims and summoned her eminent friends to make it successful.

Stylist Rachel Zoe congregated star models like Chris Brown and Kelly Osborne, and ace designers like Donna Karan and Diane Von Furstenberg, all of whom did the catwalk at Bryant Park.

The collection from the prominent designers like Ralph Lauren, Dolce & Gabbana, Carolina Herrera and Christian Dior, will be auctioned online at Net-a-Porter opening March 15.

The earnings made from Campbell’s fashion show will be donated to CARE, an association working to restructure Haiti’s health-care arrangement for women and children.

The earnings from the tickets for last night were also given to CARE. Jessica Igoe, director of global sponsorship and marketing for AMEX said, “The venue Bryant Park hosted 950 guests and the ticket prices were ranging from $100 to $150 a pop”.

Campbell earlier has staged fashion shows for Hurricane Katrina’s victims in New York and the massacre in Mumbai, India.
